The Municipality of Hirijikome is a small town located upon the eastern shores of the northeastern isle of the Rokuman Archipeligo.[2][1.2]

Hirijikome is a bread-basket of its isle, and perhaps the biggest farming town in all of Rokuskima Taiyoo. It is named after its primary crop, rice, which is said to be blessed by one of the many kami resident on the island. Whether this is true or not, it certainly has had an abundant yield.

Beikoku is intended to reference the United States (which is actually komekoku (米国) in my understanding), but I don't think it makes sense to name places after real world locations in a fictional setting when we already have the Masque of Red Death / Gothic Earth - it only causes confusion.
