The owner of the greater of the two wineries in the village,[1] he is on good terms with Pavla Oleynyk, the local priestess of the Morninglord. They often work with one another to arbitrate local disputes.[1]

As the local church of Ezra grows, this has lead to pressure on him to work with both, but he has, at present, resisted it. Not to say he spurns the church, but he prefers to keep to his existing relationship.[3]
