The Necropolis of Cavitius is a domain in the Burning Peaks cluster, ruled by the demigod Vecna, named after his old citadel on the Quasi-Elemental Plane of Ash. Most of the domain is a desert which saps the life force of anyone who sets foot in it. The only settlement in the domain is Citadel Cavitius, where undead are leading citizens, and the living have no rights.[1][1.1]

A small camp of the unnamed Tasque of vistani maintains a magically-protected camp for those whom end up stranded there, though they are suspicious at the best of times of those whom seem to wish to intentionally travel there.[2][2.1]
