Mel Fira was described as a large village located in northern Nova Vaasa. The village was razed in 735 BC during an attempt by adventurers to come to grips with wererats who had taken over the village with the help of human conspirators. The village was never rebuilt. The site is considered to be ill-omened and perhaps even cursed.
