A darkonian dwarfess left in the care of the toret of the Ezran church in Edrigan as a babe for reasons unbeknownst to her, Reneé le Serrurier served the Third Sect as an able laywoman from the age she was able to work, and has been a servant ever since. Most of her life was spent recovering and repairing antiquities for the sect. During travels to Zeidenburg along with an Ezran chevalier of the Third Sect, she displayed the shield of Ezra trying to extricate the downed chevalier from the attack of a pack of werewolves. Reneé was sent to the nearby Renika, where the Rest of Tears Chapel was one of the few Third Sect churches outside of its native Dementlieu. It was there she was ordained as an anchorite, and she would continue her service based out of that church under Toret Claire Lavigne.[1.8]
