Levkarest is the capital and largest city of Borca with a population of 8,500. Levkarest is also Borca's capital and a major nexus for trade. Located in south central Borca and formed in the shape of a heart, Levkarest is situated on the western side of the Luna River. The Crimson Highway travels through the city's core with the Sunrise Gate at the west and the Sunset Gate at the east. In addition, the Old Svalich Road drifts into Levkarest from the northeast out of Barovia and ends in Caina, a satellite village of Levkarest.[1][1.1]
