A hamlet buried deep in the Lightless Wood of Mordent, Tumbledown is purported to be a dangerous den of vice and corruption by the other people of Mordent. The place is filthy and stinky, but less filled with the ruckus normally expected of such places. Mayor Alfred Montrose serves as the theoretical town leader. However, he may in fact be little more than a figurehead, with the true power lying with a council of local business persons. "S" investigated to discover the town's true purpose, only finding that some people speculated these business people may know of something secret hidden in the nearby swamps.[1]
