One of the principal cities of Richemulot and possibly the most important river port in the west part of the Core, Pont-a-Museau sits on the Musarde River, its geography interspersed across the river's banks and even on bridges, islands, and levies that straddle the river itself. Various stores and workshops dot the maze of winding and narrow streets. It is the residence of Jacqueline Renier[1][2.1], leader of Richemulot[2.2]. Her influence over the nobility and society in general makes politics a game of intrigue both with a level of sophistication not seen in Ste. Ronges[2.3] nor a level of deadliness not seen in Mortigny.[2.4]

Chateau Delanuit sits upon an island in the Musarde in the middle of town, though since the bridge was bombed and not repaired quickly in 781, the noble family which holds the estate has had the island declared its own independent municipality as Isle Delanuit as reparations. Many criminals choose to hide out among the family's servants there, leading to tensions with the watch.[3][3.1]
